About the School

A Platform Functioning as a School

NDARAMA is a school of mining business and a board of available minerals. It teaches the commercial side of mining to people who already know the ground, and it introduces the people holding mineral to the people licensed to buy it.

A yard office where a trader is shown the calculation on a board of regional figures.

Who It Is For

Not the geologist. The aggregator who pools small producers into a parcel worth a serious buyer's time. The trader with a car and a phone who organises the truck and the papers. The financier who wants a return without touching rock. The dealer who has just been asked to find a buyer for a mineral they have never handled.

Every one of those four makes money out of mining without mining. What they are missing is the deal, and that is what this teaches.

Two desks in one room, the money on one side and the expertise on the other.

Who It Is Written For

NDARAMA is built for the people who own, fund, haul and trade minerals across Southern Africa - across the twelve countries, roughly 165 million people.

It is written in plain English on purpose. Most of the people it is for do not read commercial English comfortably, and the answer to that is not longer sentences with more qualifications in them. It is shorter ones, a term explained the first time it appears, and a drawing wherever a drawing says it faster than a paragraph would.

Twelve Countries, Southern Africa Only

Botswana, South Africa, Zimbabwe, Zambia, Namibia, Angola, Mozambique, Malawi, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Tanzania, Eswatini and Lesotho.

Every one of them reserves artisanal and small-scale mining to its own nationals. That single fact shapes almost every decision a reader of this school will make, and it is why the Government page sends people to their own mining department rather than around it.

Who Owns It

NDARAMA is a digital infrastructure product of Cabanga Africa (Pty) Ltd, Botswana, built by Cabanga Platforms. It is an introduction service and a school. It is not a dealer, broker, buyer, exporter or financier of minerals, and it gives no valuation, assay or investment advice. Nothing in the school is legal, tax or investment advice.
